Tyson began his career by selling projects to established production companies. His early works include ‘PYROS’ (Omnifilm Entertainment) and ‘JACKED’ (Pixcom). He achieved further success with the hit series ‘Cold Water Cowboys,’ collaborating with Oscar-nominated producer David Paperny.
Tyson is the co-creator and executive producer of several successful docuseries, including the globally renowned ‘Rust Valley Restorers,’ which is available on Netflix International and History Canada. His other notable works include ‘Cold Water Cowboys’ and ‘Pets & Pickers,’ both produced in collaboration with Bell Media.
Tyson co-founded Mayhem Entertainment and created his biggest hit to date, ‘Rust Valley Restorers,’ for Corus Entertainment. This production cemented his reputation as a leading figure in the world of television production.
In 2020, Tyson launched ‘Tyson Media Productions,’ quickly following with the production of Bell Media’s original series ‘Pets & Pickers.’ The show, which airs on Crave, Animal Planet, and Discovery Canada, is now in its third season and has expanded to Animal Planet USA, HBO Max, and ROKU internationally. Tyson Media’s latest project, ‘My Pet Ate What?!’ (14 x half-hour episodes), was recently announced by Bell Media.
